This work explores a radial organization where energy seems both to burst outward from the center and to rotate around it. These two dynamics coexist and balance one another: the radial movement and the circular movement operate simultaneously. The nuances of the engraved wood-cardboard reveal a material through which light circulates with lightness, power and driving force, reinforcing the sensation of a living system in expansion.

Each impression of this lithograph is produced with a specific laser setting - variations in power, speed or density - orchestrated by Virginie Knysak herself. These parameters generate subtle differences in line depth, shadow intensity and engraved texture. This experimental approach gives each print its own singularity.

The sand-toned surface reinforces the impression of a fragment of language, a forgotten system - a silent codex from an abstract civilization. The engraved lines form an almost architectural structure, like the plans of a mechanism or the map of an invisible force inscribed into matter, recalling the enigmatic structures of Daedalus in mythology. The filigrees traced by the burn along the edges extend this inner energy and add a discreet vibration to the motif, like the trace of a luminous passage that still inhabits the surface.
